It All Starts or Ends here

After spending the last year laying on a couch and wondering if i was going to die, i had a lot of time to think about things, I wish i had started this then but I wasnt sure what was going to happen or if i would have the energy to keep up with it. So better late than never right, still theres some things i would only be able to describe while in that moment. For those who dont know i just finished my first battle with Hodgkin's Disease. I say first because though I'm told it's all over, no one can really say whats going to happen. I thought i was only going to have half the amount of chemo i did. i remember being so disappointed when it nearly doubled. I also say first because as much confidence as i now have in my doctors i had been let down so badly by mis-diagnosis and delays in the past 2 years that i just don't know what will happen in the future. But for the time being i have to keep looking foward. So I'm working again, Attempting to play baseball and most importantly playing music again. I think I'm most excited about leading worship again. I have an opportunity to work with Lakeside Church and Brian Chandler playing guitar and leading some songs for the weekend services. I'm so excited to just play and worship again, especially with someone like Brain who seems to have as much passion as i do for worship. So that what this blog is going to be about, me and trying to get back to some sort of semblance of real life. Maybe a place to vent or share thoughts, songs, poetry, all that good stuff. God bless
